Currently owned by the VW group and based in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Lamborghini is known to create some of the most provocative and outlandish design ever fitted to a chassis. Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of ‘Automobili Lamborghini’ started out making tractors and race boat engines. It wasn’t until 1963 that the company assumed its automaker identity to become the brand we recognize today.
Some of Lamborghini’s most Iconic models include the Miura, Countach, Diablo and the Murcielago, all of which are powered by thunderous V12s. Lamborghini has experimented with several types of engines including a V8 in the 1980 Jalpa and more recently a V10 in the Gallardo, the Murcielago’s little sister.
Today, Lamborghini’s cars represent the avant-garde nature of their design and performance. The Aventador, a V12 monster that will reach a top speed in excess of 350 km/h, and the Huracan, powered by a v10 and capable of 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds, are both available with Elite Rent in their hard-top and convertible/roadster configuration. When it comes to presence and sound, the raging bull is always an excellent choice.
