Land Rover begins its story with the famed “Land Rover Series I” of vehicles of which the first example was registered in 1949. Since then, and over it’s illustrious 70+ year history, the Land Rover has been an icon of British engineering excellence. The icon lives again though with a 2020 complete redesign. With cues that harken back to the original, the new defender is sure to provide both nostalgia and wonder to its many fans around the world. Whilst one my be nostalgic of memories past, one thing that will be missed slightly less is the sparse nature of most defender cabins; this time, the defender could arguably compared to other luxury SUVs as it is on par in terms of technology.
