The Elite-sponsored Helpline for victims of human trafficking wins prizes: Philias and Ashoka.
Last June, the very first Helpline for victims of human trafficking in Switzerland was launched, accompanied by a large awareness raising campaign in public transport and on the streets of Geneva. During the first five months of activity the helpline staff has assisted 16 cases of probable victims in Geneva, a number that far exceeds any official statistic (an average of 5 per year for the years 2000-2005).
To continue answering the calls of victims of human trafficking in Geneva and Switzerland, and to help them rebuild a dignified life, we need your support.
