- Minimum age: 21-23-25-30 years as per type and model of vehicle shown in the brochure.
- Driving license: full current driving license valid since one year for cat. City Car, and 2 years for the other categories.
- Additional driver: Same conditions for an additional driver approved by Elite at the time of the rental: additional fee of CHF 5 per day.
- Minimal rental duration: one day = 24 hours. After 3 extra hours, a full day will be charged.
- Gasoline: not included.
- Payment conditions: One or two authorised credit cards as per vehicle model and category as shown in the brochure.
Insurances and Deductibles: - Unlimited Third-Party liability, with a deductible amount CHF 500 in case of accident involving the responsibility of the renter is included in rental amount.
- LTDD (Loss, Theft and Damage Deductible): The renter is responsible in case of Loss, Theft and Damage for the Deductible amount. The deductible and renter´s responsibility can be reduced by accepting an additional insurance fees as follows:
- Insurance 1: fee is included in the cost of the rental / renter is responsible for Basic Deductible (LTDD 1).
- Insurance 2: daily fee in addition to rental rate as per brochure / renter is responsible for Reduced Deductible (LTDD 2).
- Insurance 3: daily fee in addition to insurance 2 (fee on request) / renter is responsible for Super Deductible (LTDD 3). Elite reserves the right to refuse these deductible reductions.
- PAI: Personal Accident Insurance for driver and passenger: CHF 5 per day.
- The driver is held liable up to the total value of the vehicle if the car is damaged or stolen intentionally or by gross negligence.
- Elite insurance doesn’t cover: damages caused by careless use of the car: wheels, hub-cubs, tyres, radio K7, GPS, antenna, upholstery, external mirrors, rims, convertible soft-top, gear-box, clutch etc.
- In case of accident or mechanical problems, involving the responsibility of the driver, he will be charged for a minimum of 5 days (10 days for exceptional cars), up to the time required for the final repair (daily rate 1-3 days).
Equipment: Winter equipment: a fee of CHF 30 for snow tyres, chains, window ice-scraper, is charged during the winter. Baby-seat: per rental CHF 30. Ski-rack: CHF 30 per rental. GPS (Global Positioning System): on request CHF 50. Delivery and Collection: complimentary in town. Geneva and Zurich airports CHF 50, between 20h00 and 08h00, CHF 80.For other locations in Switzerland or Europe: ask to the reservation office. The cost varies as per place of delivery and duration of the rental.Cancellation policy: - No cancellation fees for categories: City Car, Executive, Station-Wagon and Minivans.
- For other categories:
- - within 72 hours and 24 hours prior to the rental: 50% of the estimated rental amount will be charged (minimum 3 days)
- - within 0 and 24 hours prior to the rental: 100% of the total rental amount will be charged
