Medical Care Access to Remote Rural Areas |

| This project addresses a precarious situation in the Amdo and Kham regions, situated in eastern Tibet on the border with China. In these rural regions, health care hardly exists and lack of medical assistance and basic hygiene structures make the situation even worse. Since 2006 Elite has sponsored the construction of medical clinics in the local monasteries, the provision of medical supplies and the elaboration of a medical training program for the nuns.
